The Family Center offers individual and group supervision for licensed psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, and marriage and family therapists. All of our supervisors are also registered play therapists.

Individual & Group Supervision are available with Dottie Higgins Klein LMFT, & RPT-S. Dottie is a supervisor for the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT - #14583) and a supervisor for the Association for Play Therapy (APT - #0152). Therapists can sometimes apply the same hour of supervision to the licensing board, the Association for Play Therapy and for AAMFT credentialing.

Other therapists offering individual and group supervision include: licensed psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, and marriage and family therapists. They are all registered play therapists. Again, for those credentialing in a dual track, for example of clinical social work and play therapy, the same hour can be applied to each organization. Our supervisors are all trained to work with therapists seeing adults, teens, and children.

Supervision is a crucial part of the therapist's training and development. Even a therapist with years of experience may encounter a client situation that really needs some extensive consultation and the willingness to keep learning.
